Job description
This school is seeking a calm, confident and proactive Inclusion Room Supervisor to manage their internal inclusion space. This role plays a key part in supporting students who are removed from mainstream lessons due to behavioural, emotional, or pastoral needs, helping them to re-engage positively with learning. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as Inclusion Room Supervisor:
Supervising students working in the Inclusion Room, maintaining a calm and purposeful learning environment.
Supporting students to complete work set by subject teachers.
Encouraging positive behaviour and attitudes, using a restorative approach.
Monitoring student engagement and reporting concerns to relevant staff.
Working with the pastoral and behaviour teams to support reintegration into lessons.
Ideal Inclusion Room Supervisor:
Has experience working with young people, ideally in an educational or youth support setting.
Is confident managing behaviour and building respectful, supportive relationships.
Can remain calm, consistent and assertive under pressure.
Has strong organisational and communication skills as a Inclusion Room Supervisor
