Inclusion Room Supervisor

This school is seeking a calm, confident and proactive Inclusion Room Supervisor to manage their internal inclusion space. This role plays a key part in supporting students who are removed from mainstream lessons due to behavioural, emotional, or pastoral needs, helping them to re-engage positively with learning. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as Inclusion Room Supervisor:

• Supervising students working in the Inclusion Room, maintaining a calm and purposeful learning environment.

• Supporting students to complete work set by subject teachers.

• Encouraging positive behaviour and attitudes, using a restorative approach.

• Monitoring student engagement and reporting concerns to relevant staff.

• Working with the pastoral and behaviour teams to support reintegration into lessons.

Ideal Inclusion Room Supervisor:

• Has experience working with young people, ideally in an educational or youth support setting.

• Is confident managing behaviour and building respectful, supportive relationships.

• Can remain calm, consistent and assertive under pressure.

• Has strong organisational and communication skills as a Inclusion Room Supervisor

• Is committed to helping every student succeed, regardless of their challenges
