KS2 Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive team. This is a great opportunity to help pupils develop key skills and achieve their full potential during their important Key Stage 2 years. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a KS2 Teaching Assistant:

• Support class teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across KS2.

• Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups to help them progress in core subjects like English, maths, and reading.

• Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of learning materials, and displays.

• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.

• Support pupils with additional needs, adapting activities to ensure access for all learners.

• Supervise pupils during break times, trips, and other school activities as needed.

Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:

• Previous experience working with primary-aged children is desirable.

• A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum is an advantage.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.

• A patient, encouraging, and proactive attitude.

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
