Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development?
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teaching Assistant to join a warm and welcoming primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers, support pupils' academic progress, and play a vital role in their day-to-day learning experience. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a KS2 Teaching Assistant:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and build confidence.
Help prepare classroom materials and maintain a stimulating learning environment.
Provide emotional and behavioural support to pupils where needed.
Support the school’s values and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom culture.
Ideal KS Teaching Assistant:
Experience working with children in a primary school setting (KS2 experience preferred).
A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Certificate) is desirable.
A positive, flexible, and nurturing approach to supporting children’s learning.
Good communication and teamwork skills as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.
A genuine passion for helping children succeed and grow.
