A warm and welcoming Nursery in London is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join their dedicated team. This is a fantastic part-time, long-term supply opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and committed to helping children thrive in a nurturing environment.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and caring Early Years Practitioner (Level 3 qualified) to support children in the Nursery setting on a part-time basis. The role involves working closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team to provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning space for every child.
Key Responsibilities:
Support children in their early development through play-based learning and structured activities
Work with individuals and small groups to support learning, social, and emotional development
Assist with the preparation and organisation of resources and learning environments
Support children with personal care and hygiene routines as needed
Build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents/carers
Contribute to planning and observations in line with the EYFS framework
Help maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds a Level 3 qualification in Early Years (essential)
Has experience working in a Nursery or Early Years setting
Is nurturing, patient, and passionate about supporting young children
Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills
Is confident supporting children with a range of needs
Has a sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
