Do you have experience in supporting a child on a one-to-one basis?
 
A free school in Norwich has an opportunity for a male teaching assistant to join their team, working with a year 4 male.  This will be a mentoring role where you will provide guidance and be a supportive figure for the learner.
 
The position is a long-term role, on a full-time basis that is likely to become permanent for the right candidate.   
 
It is expected that the successful candidate will not only have relevant Secondary experience, but also a Teaching Assistant qualification
  • The successful candidate will be able to differentiate to students of varying abilities effectively, making sure that all pupils feel valued and included
  • You will have experience working in a mainstream school as a Teaching Assistant.
  • The successful Teaching Assistant will be engaging, enthusiastic, and motivating to their pupils.
  • Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer, and eligibility to work in the UK.
