Step Teachers currently have an opportunity for a Nursery Assistant at an East London school upholding ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted status. This is a full time, long-term supply position commencing after the Easter holidays.
The Nursery has asked for a proficient Assistant who has the following attributes:
- Either a CACHE level 2 or higher with experience of working in an Early Years setting
- Experience of teaching Phonics is also advantageous
- To make full use of the updated Early Years curriculum to deliver effective learning strategies
- Uphold the high standard of the nursery through good practice
- Approach the role with a joyful and patient manner
This is a fantastic nursery, which we have worked with regularly for the last few years. Our supply staff has always spoken fondly of the centre, staff, and children. It is a friendly, caring school with high expectations for all of the pupils. Teachers encourage the children to explore, discover and question through a range of exciting learning opportunities, within and outside the classroom. The staff aim to provide a calm and stimulating environment where everyone models good behavior and mutual respect and everyone is valued.
The Nursery has a team of young vibrant staff who are all pulling in the same direction and working hard as a well lead team to achieve the best results for their pupils.
