Our team in Norwich is working with a secondary academy on the outskirts of Norwich that is seeking a pastoral support officer to work with their students full-time until the end of the academic year.

The academy is seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to join their team to support students and their parents. 

As a pastoral Support Officer: you will promote and support the raising of attainment and well-being of individual students by contributing to a high level of pastoral support.  You will be working across the whole school site answering walkie-talkie calls, monitoring behavior at busy lunch and break times, and assisting with general admin jobs where possible.

While pastoral experience will be an advantage, we would welcome applications from candidates who are capable of dealing with sensitive and confidential issues and have the ability to relate to young people, parents, and staff, and have the potential to develop in this role.  To be considered for this role you must have a valid and in date first aid qualification.
