Step Teachers are working with a nursery in Edgware to recruit a Qualified Nursery Assistant to join their team starting in October 2023. This is a "Good" Ofsted-rated nursery where children behave well and make friends easily both with eachother and with staff. The nursery is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant who will readily engage with their ambitious, organised, and friendly atmosphere. 

Role:

• Supporting the development of children’s language and communication skills
• Encouraging positive behaviour and providing pastoral support to children when required
• Preparing and setting up activities, ensuring that resources are available and appropriately used
• Providing feedback to parents and carers on children’s progress and achievements

Requirements:

• Minimum Level 2 Early Years qualification or equivalent
• Experience working within a nursery setting
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
