Step Teachers are working with a Nursery in Cambridge to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Room Leader with a passion for childcare to join their team and take on the wonderful and rewarding role of Nursery Room Leader.

Room Leader Responibilites 

• As a Room Leader, you will oversee a small room with a capacity of up to 12 children.
• Foster positive and trusting relationships with children and cultivate exceptional partnerships with parents. 
• Create a safe, hygienic, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. 
• Ensure that the educational and care aspects covering the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of children are of the highest quality.
• Design, implement, and document enjoyable, inspirational, and educational play and learning activities.
• Act as the primary caregiver for a designated group of children, observing, planning, and assessing their developmental progress.
• Deliver top-notch childcare services throughout the nursery.
• Actively advocate for the well-being and positive behaviour of the children under our supervision.
