Secondary Teaching Assistant – Long-term, temporary and ongoing role starting immediately

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistant to join a school where pupils are supported to develop both academically and personally. Duties as Secondary Teaching Assistant:

Provide in-class support across five lessons per day
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
Support pupils with varying needs to stay focused and achieve learning objectives
Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
Work one-to-one or in small groups with students who require additional support
Collaborate with teaching staff to monitor progress and adapt support strategies

Ideal Secondary Teaching Assistant:

Has previous experience supporting pupils in a classroom setting
Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills as a Secondary Teaching Assistant
Is confident managing behaviour and encouraging pupil engagement
Works well as part of a team and takes initiative when needed
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Is flexible, reliable, and passionate about education
