Step Teachers currently have an opportunity for an SEN TA to be based in a large academy in Gorleston. This is a long-term, full-time position that is due to start as soon as the right candidate is available. It is highly likely this position could become a permanent role for the right person.
The school are looking for an SEN TA who will be working with 2 young students, a male, and a female who need support during their day-to-day school life. They do have medical needs and therefore the candidate MUST have in-date first aid training.
The School has asked for a proficient SEN TA who has the following attributes:
- Either a Level 3 TA qualification or a minimum of 3 months experience in this role
- Fully qualified in first aid
- Able to manage learning development projects and enhance them to meet the needs of the pupils
- Approach the role with patience and understanding of the pupil's needs
- Be able to demonstrate an adaptable approach within the classroom.
