Job description
Are you a dedicated and passionate educational professional with experience in providing tailored support to students with behavioural needs? We have an exciting opportunity for a Special Educational Needs (SEN) 1:1 Support role in Norwich, working with a Key Stage 2 student who is working at a Key Stage 1 level.
As a SEN 1:1 Support, you will be responsible for providing personalized assistance to a Key Stage 2 student who requires additional support. Your primary duties will include:
Key Responsibilities: As an SEN 1:1 Support, you will be responsible for providing personalized assistance to a Key Stage 2 student who requires additional support due to behavioural needs. Your primary duties will include:
- Building a positive and supportive relationship with the student.
- Implementing and monitoring individualized strategies to address behavioural challenges.
- Collaborating with teaching staff and other professionals to create a cohesive support plan.
- Tracking and recording progress, providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements: We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and attributes:
- Relevant experience working with students with behavioural needs, preferably in a school setting.
- Understanding of Special Educational Needs and the ability to implement effective strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with the school team and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to the well-being and development of the student.
