Step Teachers are looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant based in Havering to start in September 2022. This is a long term contract where you will be working alongside another member of staff to support a child with Autism.

This is a two form-entry school; Ofsted rated ‘good’ school in a popular area in Havering.

Role:

• Working 1-1 with a young child with Special Needs

• Hard working and supportive to the student

• Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable

• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement effectively 

• Must be able to commit to 5 days a week

Requirements:

• Experience working with special needs (preferably autism)

Hours of work: 8:30 - 3:30 Monday to Friday
