Are you an experienced and confident Speech and Language Therapist looking for a new full-time role? Step Teachers are working with a 'GOOD' Ofsted-rated school in search of a Speech and Language Therapist to join their amazing team. 

As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the communication skills of students with diverse special needs. This role is a long-term Speech and Language Therapist role with the potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate. 

Speech and Language Therapist Role:

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address communication challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a holistic approach to support students' communication development.
  • Educate and support parents, teachers, and staff on strategies to promote effective communication.

Speech and Language Therapist Role:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Proven experience working with children with special needs, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and documentation abilities.
