Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant with Step Teachers, you will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning process. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting the classroom teacher with lesson preparation and delivery
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students
  • Implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications and Experience: To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working in Mainstream or SEN schools where a reference can be obtained
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for education and supporting student development
