Job description
A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive school team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping children achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Teaching Assistant:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and creating a positive learning environment.
Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning, including in literacy, numeracy and phonics.
Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and the organisation of displays.
Support children’s emotional and social development, promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing.
Provide targeted help for pupils with additional needs, where appropriate.
Ideal Teaching Assistant:
Have experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.
Be enthusiastic, reliable and committed to supporting children's learning and progress.
Communicate effectively with pupils, staff and parents as a Teaching Assistant.
Show flexibility and initiative while working as part of a team.
Hold a relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or be working towards one).
