Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive school team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on pupils' academic and personal progress in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Teaching Assistant:

• Work closely with class teachers to support teaching and learning across the curriculum

• Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, including pupils with additional needs

• Assist with preparing learning materials and classroom organisation

• Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement

• Help track progress and provide feedback to teaching staff

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting

• A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) – desirable

• A caring, patient, and flexible approach

• Good communication and teamwork skills as a Teaching Assistant.

• A strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
