Step Teachers has been granted the task of finding an engaging and organised Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position at an Ofsted rated school awarded ‘Good’ status in Islington. The position is set to commence as soon as a candidate is found and has the potential to be a temp-to-perm opportunity, depending on performance.

The school have asked for a Teaching Assistant that demonstrates the following attributes:

  • CACHE Level 2 or higher qualification
  • Advanced experience working in KS1 or KS2 in a mainstream primary school
  • Capability to work in a fast-paced environment for longer time-periods
  • Ability to complete various tasks required by the class teacher
  • Experience with working with SEN is desirable
  • Fulfil the role with confidence and being creative in their work
