An inclusive primary school has asked Step Teachers to enlist a Year 1 TA to their creative cohort. The role as a Year 1 TA will be in Barnet and is currently a temporary position, however, the school has commented that to the right Year 1 TA the role will become permanent.

The successful Year 1 TA will be expected to fulfil the following traits; 

• You should have a range of robust effective behaviour management strategies that can be employed in the classroom.
• A comprehensive working knowledge of learning styles and how to incorporate Visual, Auditory and Kinaesthetic (VAK) learning opportunities into lesson planning/delivery would be a considerable asset in this role.
• Establish good relationships, encourage good working practices and support and lead teachers in the phase group.
• The Head Teacher has asked us to ensure that candidates show ability to establish high standards of conduct.
