A really friendly and welcoming school in Islington has asked us to find a Year 6 TA for a temporary position commencing in September. The position of Year 6 TA is to cover a vacancy within the department. The position of Year TA is an exciting opportunity to work amidst a diverse cohort that practises aspiration and kindness in all they do.

As a Year 6 TA you must possess the following qualities to be successful in this role;

• Effective target setting for children and an understanding of personalised learning are key competencies for this position.
• The successful candidate will hold positive values and attitudes and adopt high standards of behaviour in their professional role.
• As a Year 6 TA will need confidence and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and philosophy.
• Highly effective communication skills with both children and adults, including parents/carers is seen as a key area of focus.
