Working together to make a difference!
This year, we've embarked on some silly, funny and damn right crazy challenges - all in the name of charity. The response weโve received has been nothing short of fantastic. Weโll soon be asking you for your help in choosing next yearโs charity partner but before we do, letโs look back fondly at some of the teamโs endeavours:
Harry put his woes of supporting Spurs behind him to run the London Landmarks Half Marathon in a lung-busting time of 01:44:32 and helped raise ยฃ765. Nothing Spursy about this performance.
Chantelle channelled her inner Rebecca Adlington to swim 25 miles in a month at Nuffield Health, Norwich. When asked why she decided to fundraise by swimming, Chantelle said, โI have always loved swimming because of my late Nanny; she would go swimming every week, and sheโs the reason I fell in love with swimming!โ Chantelle raised a splashing ยฃ323.
Our very own Rapunzel, Aidan Gracey, helped to raise ยฃ240 when he cut his locks after growing them for some 2 and a half years.
While in the cold, dark, and rainy month of November, George beat the blues by taking himself and his beautiful German Shepherd, Lando, on a mission to walk 25 miles! Together they raised ยฃ225.
Alex, Kim, and Angela took part in the Three Peaks Challenge. For those of you who donโt know, The Three Peaks Challenge is one of the most popular trekking challenges in the UK and involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England, and Wales (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon), one after another โ with an aim to complete the challenge within 24 hours, 48 hours, or 3 Days! The guys trained for months and raised an impressive ยฃ3678.
Thank you for your incredible support! You can see our running total on our dedicated Just Giving page.
