Our team in Norwich is working closely with a primary school in Hethersett that is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant.  We’re seeking a teaching assistant who has experience working in a 1-1 role with a child who has complex needs, you will ideally have experience in a supporting role where a student is on an EHCP.  Your own skills and knowledge will be developed to enable you to provide support and challenge to children of all abilities.
 
To be selected for this 1-1 teaching assistant role you should display the following attributes:
  • CACHE Level 2 certificate or higher
  • Previous experience in a mainstream school, ideally within a primary setting
  • Experience working 1 -1 with a child with individual needs
  • Enthusiastic about your work
  • You will be a creative, reflective practitioner who is adept at identifying misconceptions and other barriers to learning, including those related to personal and social development, and working to overcome these.
