Art & Design Teacher role starting September 2024:

Are you ready to inspire the next generation of artists and designers in a picturesque coastal town in the East of Norfolk? We are seeking a passionate and talented Art & Design Teacher to join a dynamic team starting in September 2024 for a long-term role.

The school and the school’s leadership team are well supported by the trust and are improving the school, especially in the teaching and curriculum. They have also put into place an effective programme to support students who struggle, especially with their reading. Pupils have a growing understanding of respect 

The Role:

As an Art & Design Teacher at Coastal Academy, you will have the opportunity to ignite imagination and cultivate artistic skills among our diverse student body. From painting to sculpture, graphic design to photography, you will guide students through a range of mediums and techniques, inspiring them to express themselves creatively.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging art and design lessons that cater to students of all abilities.
  • Encourage experimentation and exploration, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide constructive feedback to help students refine their artistic techniques and develop their style.

 Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in art and design, with a passion for sharing your expertise with others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion within the classroom and beyond.
  • Experience as an Art Teacher
