Job description
One of our highly aspirational schools in Barnet is looking to recruit an Art teacher for a temporary role. The position of an Art teacher will be available from April and will involve working amidst a dynamic and hardworking cohort.
As an Art teacher you should demonstrate the following;
- The school will prefer a candidate with good post 16/further education examination results.
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum for Art and related assessment practice is essential for a role of this nature.
- The appointed Art teacher should motivate, enthuse, excite and challenge students to produce the highest quality work.
- The successful Art teacher should have demonstrable experience and an excellent working knowledge of Assessment for Learning.
We have been working with this school on a regular basis for the past few years and our teachers have always told us it is a lovely place to work. The pupils are well behaved and generally well supported in their studies at home and this is demonstrated by their progression through the School. Ofsted most recently graded them ‘Excellent’.
Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer and eligibility to work in the UK.
