Job description

A popular and high achieving school in South London has asked us to resource a Business Studies teacher for a temporary position to commence in March. The position of a Business Studies teacher would be suitable for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) and has the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate. The contract would suit a newly qualified or experienced Business Studies teacher who is able to commit to the time frame.

  • Ideally the selected Business Studies teacher will have an undergraduate Business degree from a United Kingdom university at 2:1 or above.
  • As Business Studies curriculum leader you will be expected to communicate effectively with a range of audiences, including with pupils, parents and carers, other staff and external agencies.
  • You should understand the value of target setting as an aid to raising standards and improving attainment and achievement.
  • You will be required to use progress data on pupil performance to inform teaching and learning and improve student performance and attainment.
