Chemistry Teacher
Job description
This school is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Chemistry Teacher to join a dedicated Science department. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach your specialist subject to curious and motivated learners, and to support students in achieving excellence at Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially A-Level. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as Chemistry Teacher:
Teaching Chemistry to a high standard across KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable)
Delivering engaging lessons that combine theory with practical investigation
Supporting pupils in preparing for GCSE and/or A-Level examinations
Promoting scientific enquiry and critical thinking
Collaborating with colleagues on curriculum planning and enrichment
Ideal Chemistry Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Chemistry or a related subject
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Chemistry
Ability to inspire, challenge and support learners of all abilities
Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Chemistry Teacher
Commitment to high standards and professional growth
