Chemistry Teacher
Job description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and knowledgeable Chemistry Teacher to join a dynamic science department. We are looking for someone who can ignite curiosity and deepen students’ understanding of the chemical sciences at KS3, KS4. Starting September 2025.
Duties as Chemistry Teacher:
Deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons, with the ability to teach across key stages 3 and 4.
Plan and adapt engaging lessons using both practical and theoretical approaches
Assess, monitor and support student progress in line with curriculum standards
Contribute to the ongoing development of the Chemistry curriculum and enrichment activities
Promote safe and effective use of lab equipment and procedures
Ideal Chemistry Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in Chemistry or a related field
Strong subject knowledge and up-to-date understanding of the science curriculum as Chemistry Teacher.
Experience teaching Chemistry at GCSE level (A-level desirable)
A commitment to high standards of teaching and student achievements
