Have you got experience of working with children in either a paid or voluntary capacity?

If the answer is yes, my school in Croydon is currently looking for staff through Step Teachers for this excellent unit.

The school is a mixed school with both mainstream and SEN pupils. The school covers a wide selection of the community with many needs met and catered for.

Your role will be to work with children in the SEN unit and the classes are no bigger than 6 pupils and you will be supported by a teacher and a HLTA along with more support staff in the class. 

The day to day role covers taking lead from the teacher for the day ahead and ensuring safeguarding needs are met at all times. There may be challenging behaviour at times and if you have any Team Teach training that would be an advantage.
