As part of our long standing relationships with schools and academy trusts across the South West region, we are currently looking for a Computer Science Teacher in Secondary School near Bideford. This Computer Science Teacher role is full time with an immediate start and continuing until at least the end of the term but will likely to be extended until the end of the academic year. The school takes pride in providing a varied and dynamic curriculum for their students. 

Role of a Computer Science Teacher:

• Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Computer Science curriculum
• Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources
• Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school
• Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback
• Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons
• Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these

Computer Science Teacher Requirements:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in secondary school
• Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a Computer Science Teacher
• Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
• A relevant ICT or Computer Science related degree is desirable
• SEND experience is desirable
