Job description

A secondary school in Tower Hamlets is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Cover Supervisor to join them ASAP on a full-time basis.

The Role:

As a Full-Time Cover Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school.

Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular teacher.
Maintaining a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain on task.
Assisting with the development of educational resources.
Collaborating with teaching staff and senior leaders.

To excel in this role, you should have:
A passion for education and a genuine interest in working with secondary school students.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
The ability to adapt to various subjects and year groups.
A positive and proactive attitude.
Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
A background in PE would be beneficial.
