Step Teachers are seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor with experience working in a Secondary School setting looking for opportunities across Secondary Schools in Norfolk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise lessons in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans to ensure continuity in learning.
  • Engage students in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Plan and prepare lessons when required.
  • Mark assignments and provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and manage any challenging behaviours effectively.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Cover Supervisor in a Secondary School.
  • Strong understanding of the UK Secondary School curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Ability to adapt and respond to the varying needs of students.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
