Step Teachers are currently working with a SEN School in Plymouth rated 'Good' by Ofsted who are looking for a Cover Supervisor to start immediately for an ongoing supply role. This Cover Supervisor role will be starting immediately and is 5 days per week. The school are proud of their ethos of inclusivity and giving every pupil the best possible chance to succeed and they are looking for a Cover Supervisor who can uphold these values. 

Cover Supervisor Role:

• Cover lessons in the absence of the regular teacher
• Ensure the class are on target with the pre-set work
• Effectively manage the behaviour of the class
• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
• Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable
• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

Cover Supervisor Requirements:

• Completed undergraduate degree or higher
• Previous experience working in an SEN environment
