Cover Supervisor

We are looking for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join secondary schools around Cornwall on a long term temporary basis as soon as possible. You will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task and complete the set work in a calm, positive environment.

Duties as Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise lessons across a range of subjects following the work set by teachers.

• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

• Provide guidance and support to students to maintain learning standards.

• Assist with administrative tasks and other duties when cover is not required.

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

• Experience working with young people, ideally in a secondary school setting.

• Strong communication and classroom-management skills as Cover Supervisor.

• Ability to remain calm and adaptable in a busy school environment.

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
