Job description
We are seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a school from November 2025 on a long-term temporary, ongoing basis.
Pupils feel safe, welcomed, and free to be themselves in a tolerant and respectful school community. They take pride in their work, behave well, and support one another. Teachers set clear expectations and provide consistent, engaging lessons. Leadership opportunities and strong behaviour management help pupils thrive and prepare confidently for the future.
Duties as a Cover Supervisor:
Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure continuity of learning
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Support students to stay on task and engage with learning activities
Report back to teachers and senior staff as required
Ideal Cover Supervisor:
Previous experience in a school setting is desirable
Strong communication and organisational skills as a Cover Supervisor.
Ability to manage a classroom confidently and calmly
A flexible, positive, and proactive attitude
