Job description
Early Years Teacher – Day-to-day supply from as soon as possible
These flexible opportunities are ideal for Early Years Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be working across a range of schools in Brent and nearby areas, supporting young learners in their early development and delivering engaging lessons in EYFS settings.
Duties as Early Years Teacher:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and activities in line with EYFS curriculum
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development
- Observe and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with support staff and parents to ensure pupil wellbeing
- Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently
Ideal Early Years Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience teaching in EYFS settings within UK schools
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and EYFS framework
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills as an Early Years Teacher
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Passionate about supporting young children’s learning and growth
