Job description
We are seeking flexible and confident Cover Supervisors for daily supply work in secondary schools around the Witney area, starting as soon as possible.
- Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain on task with pre-set work
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Provide support to students where needed and encourage positive engagement
- Report back to teaching staff on student progress and any issues encountered
- Adapt quickly to different school environments and classroom routines
- Uphold safeguarding and health & safety standards at all times
- Has at least 6 months of experience working in a school or classroom setting
- Demonstrates confidence in managing behaviour and leading a class independently
- Is adaptable, reliable, and professional in a variety of school environments
- Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Enjoys the variety and flexibility that comes with being a Cover Supervisor
