Cover Supervisor – Full-time, long-term temporary role starting as soon as possible

Duties as Cover Supervisor:

Supervise classes during teacher absence and keep pupils focused on learning
Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across various subjects
Maintain orderly behaviour and support positive classroom routines
Assist pupils with classwork where appropriate
Report back to teaching staff on lesson progress and any concerns
Uphold safeguarding standards and prioritise pupil welfare

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

Cover Supervisor qualification or equivalent is required
Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting
Confident behaviour and classroom management skills
Strong communication and organisational abilities
Ability to adapt to different subjects and age groups
Reliable, calm, and proactive approach to supporting learning
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil well-being
