Job description
Step Teachers are looking for Cover Supervisors to join our pool of daily supply staff for secondary schools in and around Great Yarmouth, starting as soon as possible.
This is a great opportunity for confident and adaptable individuals who enjoy working with young people and are looking for flexible day-to-day work.
Duties as a Cover Supervisor:
Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students stay on task
Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials provided by the school
Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
Support the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies
Ideal Cover Supervisor:
Previous experience working with secondary-aged students (school or youth setting)
Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Cover Supervisor.
A flexible, reliable, and professional attitude
