Cover Supervisor – Full-time and part-time roles available from ASAP

These flexible opportunities are ideal for support staff who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings in Enfield and the surrounding areas.

Duties as Cover Supervisor:

Supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring pupils remain on task
Deliver pre-set work and manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Provide support to students in understanding lesson content
Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
Liaise with teaching staff to report on pupil progress and behaviour
Support the wider school team with administrative or pastoral tasks as required

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

Experience working with young people in an educational or youth setting
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Confident delivering instructions and engaging with pupils
Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to new environments quickly
A genuine interest in education and supporting student development
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
