Job description

Cover Supervisor – Day-to-day supply across Norwich and surrounding areas, starting as soon as possible
 
These flexible opportunities are ideal for Cover Supervisors who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings.

Duties as Cover Supervisor:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring pupils remain on task
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and manage classroom behaviour
  • Support pupils with their learning and encourage engagement
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Liaise with teaching staff to report on pupil progress and behaviour
  • Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

  • Has experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
  • Demonstrates confidence managing classroom behaviour
  • Is adaptable, enthusiastic, and reliable
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Holds relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
