Cover Supervisors – Flexible Supply Roles, Full-time or Part-time, Starting ASAP

These flexible opportunities are ideal for individuals who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different secondary school settings. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences.

Duties as Cover Supervisor:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absence, ensuring students remain on task
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain a calm, productive classroom environment
  • Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
  • Support students with queries and encourage engagement in learning activities
  • Report back to teaching staff on student progress and any issues encountered

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

  • Previous experience working in schools or with young people is desirable
  • Strong classroom management skills and ability to maintain discipline
  • Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to work across different subjects and year groups
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
