Step Teachers are working with an OFSTED-rated 'Good' school in Hackney that is looking for a Design and Technology Teacher ASAP. The Design and Technology Teacher role is full-time and long-term until July with the possibility to be extended for the next academic year. The Role:

• Strong knowledge of the Design and Technology curriculum at key stages 3 and key stages 4.
• Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources.
• Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom and throughout the school.
• As a Design and Technology Teacher, you need to have the ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to help them progress.
• Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
• Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience teaching Design and technology at the secondary level.
• As a Design and Technology Teacher, you must have a genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their best.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with young learners.
• A desire to contribute to the vibrant school community and engage in extracurricular activities.
