We are looking for a qualified drama teacher on an ongoing supply basis to join this mixed secondary academy located near Wisbech. Starting in September the position of drama teacher is more suited to those with experience.
This is a rapidly improving school where leaders and the principal share a clear vision and are making strides in provision and attainment. The recent set of ‘A’ level results shows more pupils securing places at some of the country’s top universities.
To be able to be considered for the role of drama teacher you should:
- Have a subject specific teaching qualification
- Be an outstanding practitioner with proven ability to understand and utilise current theory and practice
- Be able to enthuse, lead and develop through mentoring, coaching, evaluating supporting and target setting
- Have excellent classroom management strategies that are robust and flexible
Candidates will be subject to a variety of checks including an enhanced DBS check, full references including your most recent employer and eligibility to work in the UK.
