Step Teachers are currently looking for a ‘Drama Teacher’ for a full-time role at a ‘Good’ secondary school in a market town in North Norfolk located 8 miles south of Cromer. 

The school is an Ofsted-rated 'Good' with outstanding features. The dedicated staff and students work hard together to achieve excellence and high aspirations for students future.

Role of a Drama Teacher:

  • Good knowledge of the drama curriculum at all key stages.
  • Maintain an organised and professional classroom with all the associated resources.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school.
  • Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.

Requirements of a Drama Teacher:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in secondary school.
  • Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a Drama Teacher at a secondary school level.
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
  • A relevant drama or creative arts-related degree is desirable.
