Key Responsibilities of a Drama Teacher:

  • Develop and deliver engaging drama lessons tailored to students' abilities and interests.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to express themselves creatively.
  • Plan and organize various drama activities, exercises, and performances to enhance students' skills and confidence.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their performance techniques.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators and participate in team meetings to contribute to the overall development of the drama program.

Requirements of Drama Teacher:

  • Previous experience teaching drama to children or young adults is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Creativity, adaptability, and a genuine passion for drama education.
  • Relevant qualifications in drama, performing arts, or education are advantageous.
