Job description
Early Years Practitioners – Daily supply, starting as soon as possible
These flexible opportunities are ideal for Early Years Practitioners who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be working on a daily supply basis in Norwich and the surrounding areas, supporting nurseries and early years provisions as needed.
Duties as Early Years Practitioner:
- Support children’s learning and development through play and structured activities
- Follow the EYFS framework and contribute to planning and observations
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment
- Work collaboratively with staff to meet individual needs
- Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding procedures
- Adapt to different settings and routines with confidence and professionalism
Ideal Early Years Practitioner:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
- Experience working with children aged 0–5 in nursery or early years settings
- Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, flexible, and confident working across multiple schools
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
