Job description
Early Years Teacher – Full-time, supply role starting as soon as possible
These flexible opportunities are ideal for Early Years Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings.
Duties as Early Years Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
- Support children’s social, emotional and academic development
- Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, maintaining accurate records
- Promote positive behaviour and uphold safeguarding responsibilities
Ideal Early Years Teacher:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Early Years settings
- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
- Patient, creative and enthusiastic approach
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
