Exams Manager
Job description
We are seeking an organised and efficient Exams Manager to join a busy secondary school on a temporary to permanent basis, starting as soon as possible.

Duties as Exams Manager:
Manage the full examination process, including entries, timetables, and results
Liaise with examination boards, senior leadership, teaching staff, and invigilators
Ensure compliance with JCQ and awarding body regulations
Recruit, train, and coordinate invigilators for examination periods
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and data management systems
Support students and staff with examination-related queries
Oversee the secure storage and distribution of examination materials
Manage results days and post-results services efficiently
Ideal Exams Manager:
Previous experience working in an exams office or similar administrative role
Strong organisational and data management skills as Exams Officer.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Good understanding of JCQ regulations and examination procedures
Confident using school management information systems (e.g., SIMS, Arbor)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
