KS1 Supply Teacher – Daily supply, starting as soon as possible
 
These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. Step Teachers are currently seeking KS1 Supply Teachers to support schools with day-to-day cover across Key Stage 1.
 
Duties as KS1 Supply Teacher:
  • Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 in line with the national curriculum
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom environments and school routines
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
  • Manage behaviour effectively and ensure pupil safety
  • Leave feedback for the class teacher and complete marking where required
  • Work collaboratively with support staff to meet pupil needs
Ideal KS1 Supply Teacher:
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has recent experience teaching in UK primary schools, particularly KS1
  • Is confident working across different age groups and settings
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Is flexible, reliable and enthusiastic about supply teaching
  • Has an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willing to apply for one
