General Science Teacher
Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Science Teacher to join our thriving Science department and contribute to delivering engaging and accessible lessons across KS3 and KS4. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a General Science Teacher:
Teach General Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
Plan and deliver creative, inclusive and differentiated lessons in line with the curriculum.
Use a variety of teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners.
Assess, record, and report on student progress regularly.
Create a safe, stimulating and positive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with other Science staff and support whole-school initiatives.
Ideal General Science Teacher:
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, BEd, or equivalent).
Strong subject knowledge across the sciences.
Experience teaching science at secondary level (NQTs/ECTs welcome).
Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a General Science Teacher.
A passion for science and a commitment to student achievement.
